Established in 1996, the
ffice (NAPO) is responsible for processing applications from Emirati and mother national secondary school graduates for admission to the following institutions of higher education located in the UAE:
• United Arab Emirates University (UAEU)
• Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT)
• Zayed University (ZU)
• Institute of Applied Technology (IAT)
- Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (AD Poly)
- Fatima College of Health Sciences (FCHS)
• Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI)
• Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE)
• Khalifa University (KU)
Emirati students with high GSC scores are eligible for a scholarship to study abroad under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE.
The application cycle for the year 2015/2016 will start on October 26, 2014. Please check back soon for more details.
In September-October, 2014, NAPO along with higher education institutions is conducting joint school visits for public and private schools all over the country. Also, NAPO staff will conduct the NAPO’s Workshop for Social Workers, Institution and Education Zone Coordinators in all education zones.
